A new report suggests that more than half of Indiana's congressmen may have a hard time understanding people facing financial challenges, because those congressmen are millionaires. The Center For Responsive Politics publishes the net worth of every member of Congress each year. It's based on the financial disclosure forms filed by members. As of 2012, the latest year studied, Republican Senator Dan Coats was the wealthiest member of Indiana‘s delegation, with an average net worth of $4.7 million. But he ranks only 103rd out of the 535 members of the House and Senate.
