There‘s a new scam that‘s targeting Indiana cellphone users. The Better Business Bureau is calling it the "One Ring Scam." BBB President Tim Maniscalo says it happens when your phone rings once or twice, you see the unrecognizable, usually long distance number or "unknown" on your caller ID, answer it and no one responds on the other end of the line. Maniscalo says it may also involve you returning the call and getting a "beep, beep, beep" noise on the other end. He says the "One Ring Scam" is part of a practice called "phone cramming," and it will cost you if you call back.
