A dozen property owners file a complaint in Warrick Superior Curt challenging Chandler's annexation of a portion of Indiana State Road 62. The complaint seeks a court order preventing the annexation from taking effect. It alleges the area to be annexed is not sufficiently contiguous to the Town of Chandler, as required by law. The action follows votes by the Chandler Town Council sto approve eight ordinances to annex a portion of State Road 62 from the town boundary to the Warrick-Vanderburgh County line. The land owners say the town's annexation does not meet state requirements.
