A sinkhole collapsed part of the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Kentucky, damaging eight cars but not shutting down the building. A museum spokeswoman says six of the cars were owned by the museum and two were on loan from General Motors. When the hole opened up it set off an alarm and a call to the fire department. No one was in the museum at the time. The hole is in part of the domed section of the museum, and that area will remain closed. The fire department estimated the hole is about 40 feet across and 25 to 30 feet deep.
